Its his own fault its that high.

He kept dodging court dates, for a while infact, they said if he never turned up to the next one he would be arrested so he did.

Luckily just before that court date he had gotten a really good job, and when they asked to show his earnings, they based it on that, even I was suprised it was so high if im being fair.

Stupidly, he thought if he quit his job he wouldnt have to pay child support, so he quit, but it just stacked up, and now he owes me almost 3,000 in arrears, so he gives me more now on top of the 789 he already gives me, he is in a right mess now, but its his own fault, if he had just complied in the first place and stepped up he wouldnt be in this bother.

because he apparently cant afford more. The way its done here is completely different to the US

It is indeed, I even did a victory dance when it was awarded, even though I maybe shouldn't have, lol, I was just happy it had finally been settled.

Like I said, its his own fault, he could have avoided all of this.

Karma will get everyone eventually.

My SO got behind because we told them to remove it from his check and the sent the letter over and then they sent a letter to stop it so when he called his corp office to find out what was going on they told him that and asked do u want it removed from your check he was like umm yah.
