scared of labor

This is my second pregnancy, with my first i wasnt worried at all about labor i actually was really confident about it, with my first my water broke and 2 hours later he was born, which is a very fast labor. i did get an epi. This time im freaking out about multiple things, the pain, not being able to get to the hospital if this baby comes faster. Im worried i wont be able to get an epi and have to do it natural.

If you have had 2 fast labors how did it go? is anyone else worried?

I'm more worried the second time around as well. I have different worries but still in the same boat. I was induced last time and want to go natural this time. Also worried about how fast it will go. I want a natural birth but fear I'll give up. Worry about needing a csection. Worry about hbp and crap. Worry about cord accidents. I go to an office of 5-6 drs and worry my dr won't be on call when I go into labor. If that happens I have talked about birthing unassisted at home or using the local Amish midwife. I'm just a nervous wreck about things I never worried about with dd.

Exactly. With your first it's all learning things and being naive. This time I'm not naive and I'm realistic. So I know what could happen and know what happens if that stuff happens. Before its like you deal with issues as they arise. But from bg I know way too much about preg and problems haha.

lol exactly! i thinks thats why im stressing out. there is just so much more going through my mind.
