Advice for this site....its full of hormonal, pregnant, PMSing, tired moms and women don't take crap personally. Also if you ask for advice, opinions and get feedback you don't like or agree with it that's fine you don't have to but most of us have children and have been through it so don't try an argue your point for 10 hours or you'll look ignorant. Grats on the pregnancy.

And also get books! What to Expect is the perfect one, but there's a lot out there for the different stages because they won't be a baby forever. Plan ahead, stock up on diapers (there's different sizes and they grow quick), make a plan for what you can afford to buy and when, how much everything will be, and focus on the essentials not just what you want. Baby showers are a great help, and a lot of fun for the family/friends. Prenatals!!! Plan a good diet for yourself. And BREATHE!!!!!!!

Stay in school, I had my son at 16. I wish I would have. I ended up getting my GED and I am now a student but it would have been much easier if I would have started earlier.

I was 16 when I got pregnant and 17 when I had my son, I pushed my self to graduate a year early through an indepent study program, he was 3-4 months old and joined me while I walked across the stage to get my diploma, it's a really great feeling to know that something so small is counting on u, I'm not going to lie and say its the easiest thing in the world cuz its not, it is a struggle but it's so worth it in the end, NO MATTER WHAT CONTINUE YOUR EDUCATION...
U will have many sleepless nights, many times of frustration, you will probably feel confused, but I swear it is all worth it.
After u graduate or even after the baby is born find a job to keep ur self busy so u don't get to stressed out, do something for ur self every now and then go out with friends, buy a new shirt or two
I hope I helped a lil it's hard to give advice because I don't know your situation but I'm always here if u need to talk
Good luck Hun

I was also a teen mom at 17 and continuing school was the best thing I could have done. It will not always be easy, but it is well worth it. I agree with others on here that say each pregnancy is different, but reading and talking to your doctor is the best way to acknowledge yourself. You can feel free to email me if you ever want advice or someone to talk to. I am expecting my 5th child and might have gone through some of the experiences that you are having or maybe will have. I'll message you my email. Good luck with your pregnancy

Finally I see someone that is due by my due date!! Lol
I am due March 14th, 2013 But this is also my first child as well. But I do hope that everything goes well for you & just expect change for sure! I have many many neices & nephews & have watched them when they were babies & kept them over nights & all that & always said to myself ( way before I got prego) that this is something I am glad I don't have to deal with; getting up in the middle of the nights/ early mornings/not having your own time anymore unless the baby is asleep. Changing diapers, feeding the baby at every couple hours & all that! But you have time to prepare yourself & I hope the best for you !! & your baby
