Homecoming

Okay so me and SO dropped out of school like a year or so ago. I should be a junior in high school. And he was class of 12'.
Anyways... tonight he really wants go to the High School Homecoming. I really dont wanna go for some reason. I used to love football games. But it's like..I know for sure there is this one girl who wants to fight me. ( I know immature, I just like to shy away from the drama. And I am just honestly not prepared for all the dirty looks from my old teaches, dumb hoes ect. I also feel like alot of other people that dont suck are just gonna be all over DD wanting to hold her ect and it DD doesn't like strangers. Blah... It's like I kinda wanna go, but I dont. I hated high school, and I feel like it might give me anxiety....But SO wants to go so bad. And homecoming is such a big deal where I am from....

Advice?

That's his problem then. If he wants to go so badly and you don't, then he can go by himself or not at all. That's what I would say.

I would go, but with a backup plan to leave in case anything goes down. I would talk to him and say something like "Okay, i'm willing to go and try to have fun with you, but if any drama goes down or if DD gets too smothered by people, we leave, deal?" That way, at least you're willing to try to do what he wants, and in return....he should respect what you want if it doesn't work out.
