results?

i have been going to the gym for the last 2 weeks.
finally trying to get m fat ass into shape

although i see NO result and nothing has changed on the scale

i go for 25 min on the elliptical & then do an hour class, like bootcamp or bodyworks


help   what am i doing wrong

i don't eat bad to begin with
i mean, i over eat sometimes
but for the most part i eat really well
i could change some things i guess

Probably nothing? It's only been two weeks... Remember, muscle is more dense than fat, so it weighs more. You are toning your body but you won't always see a difference in the scale, especially so early! Good for you for committing to getting in shape. You should measure yourself so you have a reference point. Bust, waist, hips, leg, arm. You will likely notice a difference in those measurements even if your weight remains the same.

ya, it took me a long time to get motivated
my boyfriend started paying for me to go to the gym
so i go with my sister everyday. bitch has such a nice body

If you don't change your diet, you'll end up eating more because you're burning more, and you may not realize it. Weight loss is made in the kitchen not in the gym. I've had my biggest weight loss successes when I've watched what I ate (and worked out) but if I do just one I'll end up gaining or staying the same if I just go to the gym... but if I exclusively diet then I'll end up loosing... so definitely make the effort to diet.

If you want to join a program for dieting, Weight Watchers is the one that works best IMO. Even though it may work a little slower than some fad diets, it's much easier to keep the weight off. I lost 40 lbs with them last year, and I plan on re-joining as soon as I have my LO.

i don't want to "diet" i want to change how i eat in general.. life time change. not just temporary. i feel like i am toning up, but it look the same. don't know if that makes sense

That's precisely why I love weight watchers, they help you learn portion control and it doesn't stop you from indulging in some of your favorite treats and it helps you get better results from your work outs. They actually frown on it when people call their program a diet program, it's a lifestyle program.

Take pictures. I havent dropped any weight however i am looking more tone already. I started a week and a half ago. You will gain more muscle as the fat goes away thus making it seem like you arent losing weight.
