so heart broken

I'm not producing enough milk to feed my baby boy   and he is under weight i dont want to but him on formula but i know i need too. I am so heart broken...   when i try and give him the bottle he fights with me because he wants the boobie and there is nothing i can do i hate seeing him cry because he wants the boob 

Have you tried any supplements to help increase your supply? Fenugreek? Blessed Thistle? You could ask your doctor about Domperidone.

This! Also look up supplemental nursing systems ( I'm pretty sure that's what they're called at least) a way for him to be on the boob but get food.

i;ve tried the Mothers milk, the lactation cookies and the Brewers yeast pills...do Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle really work?

I drink mothers milk tea...they well it at walgreens nd grocery stores...within 6 hours I was engorged...good luck!!

They didn't work for me, but a lot of women swear by them.

oatmeal works well also. I ate a huge bowl every morning until my milk supply was established. Also if you have a pump right after each feeding pump! Even if you get nothing out. Your body will get the picture that your LO needs more milk!

Look up "Milky Mamas Chat" on fb and asked to be added. GREAT group with tons of ideas and help.

why do you say you do not have enough milk? is he having enough wet diapers? is he losing weight? what growth chart is being used to compare his weight? I would get a second opinion or speak to a Lactation Consultant.

make sure your baby's doc is using a breastfeeding growth chart and not a formula fed growth chart.....lots of babies are consdered under weight by the formula fed chart.....my dd is 19mo old and weighs 18.5lbs and is perfectly healthy.

Oh ok I will ask at his next appt. my son is 5 months and weighs 13lbs 2oz
