Marcus 2 1/2 years old - He has a few heart defects - Double outlet right ventricle w/ pulmonary stenosis, VSD and Tetralogy of fallot. Also during a surgery he had a stroke, threw a clot to his brain and now has 20% lower left brain damage. Also was diagnosed with Digeorge syndrome (aka VCFS or 22q)

It's been a long road. He is now in OT, PT and ST. He has started saying a few words and is more steady on his feet. Actually just started to almost run

Sat up by himself at 10 months. Crawled at 13/14 months. And walked at 19/20 months. He's my fighter.

Quoting i LOVE my meatballs:" omgosh so so so much of a diff!!! i see ur posts about this every now and then and the diff is amazing!!! ... [snip!] ... then and the diff is amazing!!! if you dont mind me asking is it something that will go away or will she aleays kinda have it?"

For her, I think it is something that will go away with time and all the exercising that we do with her. I know that with some children it doesn't go away either because it's way more serious and there are other underlying problems such as scoliosis or the parents didn't know and didn't take the steps to correct it. And then there are some the just "grow out" of it on their own over time.

With DD, she was positioned a certain way in utero and was cramped and after she was born it was the position she felt most comfortable in. At first she would absolutely refuse to turn her head and neck the other way and if we tried to turn for her she would fight it and fuss.

I am really hoping it completely corrects to "normal" for her. We've been working so hard. She still prefers to keep her head tilted up and to her left but now she has more range of motion and will turn willingly as needed.

She also has some slight flattening on the back of her head and a bulge on her forehead that is also starting to improve but we may still need to get her a helmet to help get her head perfectly shaped.

Oh and here is a photo of her noggin a month apart... you can see how it's a little misshaped and the difference in a month without a helmet. (Getting a helmet is the hard part... both DD's PT and myself have been trying to get a referral from her pedi without much luck.)

This is Chloe she is 7 1/2 months and my youngest baby girl.

Chloe was suspected to have down syndrome while still in utero, due to spots on her heart.
At birth theior were no signs of DS at all. But she was born with Choanal Atresia, which is a medical condition that effects her breathing, she can not breath through her nose at all, and surgery may be in the near future. Chloe also has a displaced anus that will need more looking at at 12 months of age (may require surgery as well) and we are seeing genetics for Chloe for growth disorders, since she is 13lbs 13oz and only 24 inches long at 7 1/2 months old.

Chloe in her incubator just a few hours old.
Chloe now 7 1/2 months old.
