Damage by Catheter or Bladder infection?

I no longer feel the urge to pee. I have a bladder infection which is being treated. Usually with a bladder infection you are supposed to have an increased urge to go but its like my "pee alarm" is broken which only makes things worse. Anyone else have experience with this after having a catheter? Did the sensation come back eventually?

Yes if you had anesthetic or pain pills it can stop you from peeing continue with fluids if you s,till aren't going contact your doctor

I can go just fine. Its just that I dont have the sensation telling me I need to go. I dont know when my bladder if full.

I had a catheter aswell and it caused me to lose the "pee alarm". I had my son almost four weeks ago, I no longer get the weak alarms to let me know, but i get the urgent alarms still lol.
