Ouch!

posted 20th Sep
I'm 9 days PP and I ran out of my pain meds yesterday.
I'm having pain under my clit, I don't know what it's called. But it's extremely sore and hurts to touch it, sit down, and walk. It just hurts!

Last time I ripped and I had stitches and I remember this pain, but this time I didn't rip. Is this normal?

My vagina also burns...I don't remember that though. It doesn't burn when I pee tho.

And I also still have sciatic nerve pain in my leg. grrr I thought it was supposed to go away after DS was born. Anyone know anything about this? It's not as bad as it used to be, but it's a pain! I'm tired of it's annoying crap lol.

I've always heard each time you have a kid the pain only gets worse.

Personally, I was hopped up on painkillers 24/7 after my first, but after my second, I took a Motrin at the hospital and that was the only time I took anything for pain. And my second was a little larger.

At 9 days PP, everything is still pretty effed up. Lol. Your pain level depends on a lot of things (how fast you got baby out, their weight, etc) I'm sure it's normal.

I had a c-section last Wednesday and left the hospital Saturday. They gave me 14 painkillers which lasted less than 2days( I ran out Monday at 5days PP). It still hurts like a mofo but I really hate the thought of asking my Dr. for more... As for the sciatic pain, I'm still experiencing that! It really sucks b/c if I can barely walk then how am I supposed to carry my baby?!?!

lol yeah that makes sense.
my first baby was 7 lbs 2oz. And she was 19 1/2 inches.
This time DS was 8lbs 5oz! and 21 inches.

I didn't push long with DS, my epidural failed and I could feel everything so pushing was easier.
And with DD, I pushed for 2 hours because of my epidural I guess.

It just seems to get worse, but then again, I'm really active. I did stuff I shouldn't of without realizing it like running up the stairs. lol. Damn pain meds worked too good I guess.

I was given 60 ibruphen 800mg (doesnt work at all for pain...) and 16 tylenol #3's.
I hate to call and ask my Dr for more tylenols, so I'm not wanting too either, lol. Damn pride is gonna kill us.

Sciatic nerve crap is horrible. I couldn't walk when I was pregnant hardley, so I feel terrible for you. I'd def would call and ask tho since you had a c section and sciatic nerve pain that bad. But I understand.

Yeah I also got my tubes tied on top of it and I have a 15mos old and trying to keep up with him may very well kill me lol seriously though, I've had just about all of my staples pull out and it's most likely from having to care for him and my oldest( the baby is the easy one!). But it's feeling a bit better today, mostly I've just been really tired... Oh, the things we mothers put ourselves through for our children! :-)
