Sleeping on the floor

Lately, DD has been sleeping on the hall floor at the top of the stairs. We will carry her to bed where she sleeps the rest of the night but naps have to be on the floor. It is so weird. She won't tell us why she wants to sleep on the floor. She even brings a pillow and a blanket. I think she might be uncomfortable in her bed but she is getting a new one in December when we move so I don't want to get her another now. Has anyone else's child gone through this? Is it just a phase?

when my sister was little she would sleep anywhere.. accept her bed! one time, we found her on the top of the stairs sleeping on a step!

nope lol but seems dangerous being at the top of the stairs.

when i was little i used to sleep in the hall sometimes when i was scared or lonely. idk why the hall made me feel better but it did. lol

I used to sleep on the floor all of the time, nothing was the matter with my bed at all.
