Gas and air is bloody brilliant too!!

It's available here in Canada!

Damn I really wish the USA would do gas, that'd be great! However we do have epidural and it works well!

It works so well, it doesn't affect baby and is completely safe. It has none of the risks of an epidural, I really loved it in my labour, you can still feel the contractions and the pain but you are able to distance yourself from it and not care so much   plus makes you say silly things and laugh a lot, SO said afterwards I was just chatting complete and utter smurf while dancing like a hippy .

Little Carolyn Gail came into this world on Sept. 20, at 9:04 pm. She's so beautiful, and so quiet, (like that will last). She weighs 7 lbs 13 oz, and oh my goodness, her birth story is epic.

I literally had her almost all the way out by the time the doctor go there. When she did I pushed three times, and on the last one the doctor said "Lets give it one more push." so like any mother wishign for her little one to get ot, I gave a nice hard push and the little one flew out. LOL They caught her mid-air, and everyone got splashed with whatever was in me. Myself included. *Yuck*

She'd waited so long to get out after the epi, that it was pretty much worn off except in my stomach area, that they came me a little cocktail to get me through the rest, wouldn't have torn at all if I hadn't gotten a little too excited with the last push. LOL but she's worth all this pain.

Thanks again to you all and I was happy just to have that epi for the last 8 hours of labor, don't know what I was thinking as far as going all natural, I'm too much of a wuss. Teehee
