Yeah..sorry to say, but they arent the ones stuck with the baby. I'd be pissed, and he would be getting a job if she chooses to go through with the pregnancy, but he would not be bringing his kid to my house so I could raise it.

My "step son" just did that to his mama and they were just kicked out last week. I don't blame her one bit.

In Guatemala, kids understand responsibility at a much younger age than American kids (in general). Most have to pay their own high school education (let alone college).

This honestly makes my stomach turn.... it's like "if I have a girl she is out in the cold, but my son will be okay as long as he doesn't bring the spawn here"... that's how it sounds, whether or not you meant it to be that way.

Ok so my stance......

If they had a plan and presented it to us that they would do whatever they need be. Great I am happy to help you as much as I can.

If they just said "hey we are having a baby and don't know what else we are doing" then no I would be making a plan for them and finding some way for my child to provide for her child while gettin her education and raising her child(which is more than doable)

For the sake of your son or any future children you have. I hope you have a change of heart. You have no idea the pain you will be causing, and a lifetime of hatred they will have for you. Why even bother having children if you know there's a chance they won't go along with your ideals? You're just going to abandon them anyway if they go against you.

Yeah kids here get off easy( in most cases) some even get allowances just for being alive and maybe cleaning your room or whatever. Lol


I never got an allowance I always had to do work if I wanted money(shine my dads army boots, wash pots and pans etc) and my kids will be raised the same way

My older brother got an allowance of $500 a month (15 years ago). I only got like $200. We never had any chores... It ruined me! lmao When I was 18 and moved out on my own, I didn't have clue as to what the hell I was doing!

My oldest(3 1/2) is expected to have her room clean before bed and keep her toys cleaned up.

We are starting a chore chart next year.

Dishes will be assigned like my mom did. If you cook dinner everyone else does dishes lol! And extra stuff can be done for "allowance"(dusting, vacuuming, windows etc)

Novali picks up her messes and makes her bed for 50 cents. She helps me make all the meals and wash dishes and laundry. (We do laundry by hand here.) She is 5. This is actually normal here.

It's almost 11pm. I feed my kids then I wait for Dh to eat dinner with him(moning sickness last till about midnight lol) and tonight he is bringing dinner home! :-)
