breastfeeding with nipples pierced

I read somewhere that its harder to breastfeed with them done just wondering if this is true?any moms that have them done are you having any issues?

Nope.
I have a two friends with pierced nipples that breastfed just fine.  
The milk comes out the holes as well.  

I'm hoping the same goes for me as I have pierced nipples as well!   Just remember to take the jewellery out.  

yup just heard u will leak out of three holes instead of just one so if ur cool with that then ur ok =)

Nipples already have multiple holes.

Yep it's like a little sprinkler ! I just started leaking today..,

I took my piercings out at 26 weeks. Colostrum is coming out of the holes.
When you breastfeed with nipple rings it is important to take them out BEFORE feeding and then disinfect them before putting them back in or infection can start and transfer to the baby.

to go with what everyone else said about taking them out, i was told be careful since milk comes out of the piercing holes it can come out really fast for baby. told to try recline when feeding to slow gravity

I have mine done as well but I want to pump would I still have to remove them?
