I fell because of my parents's smurf dog last night. Broke my ankle. I thought I might get away with just a brace, but when we took that off this afternoon at the ortho, we found this:




See how the whole right side was protruding? And how it's tilted to the left? Yeah, I wasn't forcing that, that was me relaxing my foot. So they straightened it, which I admit I cried through because that smurf hurt, and I got a plaster cast.

Well, in 2 weeks if I'm still hurting at my weekly follow up, I'll be getting an MRI. Then, that'll determine if I need surgery.

If I start getting better, then I'll be wearing this fashion accessory for 6 weeks. If it still hurts, I'll be in it for 10+ weeks possibly.

I hope you heal quick, well until then make your hubby do everything you want   I love it, when i got out the hospital for removing a tumor my boyfriend did EVERYTHING. Besides pick up after himself 0.o but he did everything for me =] lol

SO's been awesome. He's cleaned the house, helped me out, got me some liquor for my pain to go with my painkillers, and he's solo taken care of the kiddo for me when he's not working. He's been great, I appreciate it so much.

^_^ Thanks. He said he can't see how I get it all done every day.   I told him welcome to my world. He doesn't mind thought because DD was about 2-3 months when he blew out his knee and I was the solo parent waiting on him hand and foot. And I waited on him quite a bit. So he doesn't mind at all.

Thank you, I'm hoping so too, it's pretty sore when my meds wear off.

Ya know what the worst part is?? The CRUTCHES! My hands, palms, and my armpits hurt so bad!!
