re: This can't be CPS worthy...??

So now she's in trouble with CPS.
Maybe she will realize it's better to have used than NOTHING. Empty rooms must be so depressing to those kids
Thats not good for their mental health!

That was the one thing that made me uncomfortable. I just think a warning to get the kids a minimum amount of clothing would be a more appropriate action than removing her children- ywim?

the reason CPS was probably called is because they bought a new tv and the diet supplement. I don't understand why any mother would buy that instead of getting things for their kids. I mean I got a gift card for my birthday but I spent it on my kids and nothing for myself. I need bras etc but I'd rather buy my kids clothes, shoes, food or toys.

Yah I mean they shouldn't be removed but maybe watched? I mean I'm not saying she should lose her kids but they should have to do something about it.

That's true. I was pissed when I was replacing their old rusty pans and looked up to see freaking Sensa on the shelf. I just thought of it as so selfish.
I spend all my money on my kids.. and I need some new bras as well!

Exactly this is my major problem and why it would really piss me off. I mean I literally had one pair of pants that were falling off me, like ripped to ribbons, after I had my youngest and when people sent me money to help I spent it all on my boys so that my oldest had new clothes for this year of school and my youngest had clothes and diapers and wipes and what not.

Why is it bras are always falling apart, I mean the under wire comes out they fray and break at the most inappropriate moments. . . why can't they make cheap bras that last! . . . random off topic. >_>

My kids do, as well. Boy/girl, 5/1. Or they did until recently.
but from a law aspect, I'm sure CPS finds issue with it, since they dont even have separate beds.

I don't see a problem at that age, either. My son is almost 5, and my daughter is 3. They have their own bedrooms, but they love having sleepovers. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Last night they both slept in my son's room and watched a movie. Big whoop.

ETA: We all co-bathe too... I take a shower with my almost 5yo, my 3yo and my 5 month old...

I'm still waiting for expensive bras that don't fall apart! It's hard to find the 38E I need. Then they cost me $40 a piece, then they last like 3 months. Comeon.

The problem is because they dont have their own beds....not because they like sleeping together.

Here there's a 2 person/room rule/law, at least where we live.
we had DD in our room but had to claim she shared a room with DS. Because DH and I were the "2 people".

I think the problem isn't them sleeping together on the occasion but that they don't have even their own beds or rooms.
