When my dd turned 5 a bunch of people gave her 20$ each. Sometimes it's easier instead of buying a gift.

I would say $20-30 but DD's first birthday was two weekends ago and two people gave her $50 and three people gave her $100, all are for her college fund.. sooo I dunno.  it really varies on how much you have and how well you know the kid I guess.

Yeah pretty much lol. Barbies with a few accessories are roughly $20
