Being a grown up sucks

SO is getting his license in a few weeks. Now we have to find a car on Craigslist. I don't even know how we could come up with the money. Though even with my mom pitching in $500. Now we have to worry about gas, insurance, diapers, phone bill, formula, baby clothes(kid grows like a weed). My SO only gets 20 hours a week. The ONLY job he could get with no experience. We waited so long for this and now we have it and its still not good enough. Idk how we are gonna make it work. Ugh... I am stressing hardcore. We can't win for losing.

Why the smurf did I try to grow up so fast? Its smurfing hard.

As soon as we get a car I am going to try like crazy for me to find a job where I could go in after SO gets off.

I feel like I should just be greatful for what we have. Especially for my mom since she's gets up so early to take him to work. She loaned us money for his Drivers ED and us giving us $500 to go towards s car. But instead of feeling grateful and lucky I just feel overwhelmed.

It'll work out! I did it (without a kid, though). Had absolutely nothing. My SO has a car, but works all the time. So I could only use his car after 6pm. And finding a night job in this small town seemed impossible. I finally found one, and was only supposed to get 20 hours a week.

I work 40 hours a week and just had a promotion. I have my own car, and SO and I just moved into our own apartment. Things WILL get better, I promise. Keep your head up!

You can always have him apply to work with tdc. All he needs is a high school diploma or ged. It's not great but it's about 1500-1800 a month and good medical and dental.

No joke hun!! I hate it LOL all the damn bills, working all the time, and I was in such a hurry to grow up cuz I thought it was easy. Hell NO!!! And with adding more expenses, diapers, wipes, anything the babies gonna need for upset tummy or updating his clothes and car seats. It's a nightmare. Car maintenance is a BITCH too, try to get something with small cosmetics but a great engine. It will get better though, take it as a learning experience. Life has ups and then downs, your going through a down so it will go up eventually!! Just remember it CAN be worse.

ahh I feel you, I tried to grow up really fast awell not knowing what I got myself into, I feel like my youth is just passing me... But I hope thing get better for you
