Diet plans?

What diet have you tried that has worked? I'm not talking about anything crazy like strictly shakes or anything but something that is easy to follow. Maybe if its even just an idea of portion control? I just don't even know where to start right now.

Weight watchers. OR if you have an iphone or a phone that takes apps go to my fitness pal. That is a free one and very good!

my grandma swears by the 1/2 cup diet lol
what ever she makes for supper she has a 1/2 cup of meat and 1/2 cup of all sides and she walks a hour a day

she is 77 years old she started this diet at age 65 and in 2 years went from a size 26 down to a size 8 and has stayed this size since then

I actually just went on weight watchers but i don't really understand. I did the free assessment test and it gave me i think its called my BMI? Is that what my points are that i should be eating?

Oh wow! Does she eat a certain amount of meals a day? Or only certain things?

she eats whatever she wants and she eats 3 meals a day
the days she cheats on it holidays and birthdays (her pig out days lol as she calls them)

Look at what size she was to what size she is. Clearly, over eating was her problem (she basically lost half of herself). If you are looking to drop a few less lbs, you just need to look at what you are eating and really pay attention to the calories.

i'm going to be starting the 1/2 cup eatting soon also and walking for 2 hrs a day (even if it is just walking around my house lol)

Yeah that's my biggest problem. I lost all the baby weight and then more because i was always craving healthy foods. After Christmas time i gained it back and now i weigh what i weighed before i was pregnant. It's still considered a healthy weight but i want to lose at least 15 and at the most 20.

If you are considered a healthy weight, why not focus on toning up and ignore the lbs?

Because since I'm short it's not really portioned well with my body? If that makes sense. It's all in my stomach so I'd have to drop some weight first and then tone up.

I have never ever had anything work until I started eating clean with portion control.
