What should I do?

posted 18th Sep
I started walking yesterday. I walked almost 21/2 miles yesterday, and about the same distance today. Yesterday I had the worst cramp on the outside of my right calf, but I pushed through it and kept going. Today, same problem, but now my left knee is in a lot of pain also. What is the best thing to do? Do I just wrap each up and keep walking tomorrow? Same distance? Do I take a day off to let them heal some? Any advice?

I say take a day off... put a day inbetween your walks and see if that makes a difference... or you can try to start off at a mile rather than 2 that way you can get your body use to it

That seems like the logical thing to do, but i'm scared that I won't start back up.

Eat something with a lot of sodium and then flush your body out with water. Stretch mildly and take a warm bath.

Yes but when you work out, you lose sodium and it does help your muscles to not cramp if you ingest sodium like salty chips or pickles after working out, even walking.
