Pregancy and Cervical cancer

For those who have read some of my others posts; my GYN informed me that I have high risk HPV, and I had to have a biopsy done to see if it was cancerious....which scares me cause he is already talking as if I have it!

He knows that I want another baby in a year or so..but hasn't said boo if that is possible? I feel like im in the dark!

Has anyone here had or know anyone who had cervical cancer and got preggers still?

I had it after my 3rd child who will be 8yrs next month, Jaylen was born April 25, 2008

I wasn't diagnosed with cervical cancer, but I do have the high risk HPV and I have had a colposcopy and a biopsy done. Thank god the cells weren't cancerous. I never got warned that it could cause complications for pregnancies, but other people have stated their doctor's warn them it could cause problems. I had my colposcopy and biopsy done when I was 18-19, so it has been some time ago. But I had my son with no complications!

ok i have the same thing...i had a biopsy and it was cancerous i had to have a conization ( sp) surgery they shaved the cone part of my cervix off i am pregnant now 32 weeks and when i first went in i asked her should i be worried since i had the surgery she said i shouldnt be worried until i get further alone in my pregnancy the only risk would be that my cervix wont hold full term...everything has been going pretty well with me....

I just copied from my about me I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer at 19. I had a LEEP followed by a D&C. In total, 65% of my cervix was removed.
At 22, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Part of my left fallopian tube was removed. During the procedure, the dr found a "bad spot" on my right ovary, and part of my ovary was removed. I was told that it would be difficult to impossible to have a term pregnancy. I got pregnant at 24..my son will be 1 the end of this month. ITS VERY POSSIBLE   Good Luck!

I have cervical cancer and I am TTC. I just had to have my first surgery before I caould TTC. My cancer is spreading but I feel like if God allows me to have another child then that means things will look up for me.
