I am still on it from the time before the HSG, so he just left me on it until my nurse consult.

You won't have to start over with that at least.

Had my ultrasound today and I'm pretty freaked out (like when am I ever not?).

Had a bad, bad bleed (huge clots and everything) literally AS I was getting on the u/s table. But then we saw the baby with heart beating away. HR has risen from 100bpm to 133bpm in just a week. Not only that, but the baby is now measuring 7w2d, up from 5w6d a week ago.

However, although the baby and heart beat are now measuring on target, the sac is measuring a week behind and that is bad. I have no idea what the sac measured last week because it was a different tech and she didn't tell me, nor was it in the report. I thought that was strange.

Really have no idea what to make of all this.

All in all it sounds good! What does your RE say? Any explaination for the bleeding?
All I can say is that when I lost my first angel (before Miles) at 7 1/2 weeks all I was told is that if you see the hearbeat after 8 weeks you are pretty much out of the clear. The fact that you have 133 at 7w2d makes me think this littel one is going to stay!!!!!! Will you get another ultrasound next week?
I can't wait for you to be a mother.
I am scheduling my nurse consult tomorrow. We will start our meds mid November doing transfer early December before the labs close for the holidays!!!! Oh I know what I want for Christmas!!!!!!!

It turns out I have a subchorionic hematoma. I never thought I would be relieved to have a pregnancy complication! My RE doesn't seem concerned about the sac, just is happy to see so much growth in one week. I'll have another u/s next week. Another looooong week.

A BFP for Christmas. Yes!!!

I didn't get a chance to post the other day when you updated. I hope that the hematoma heals and that the baby (and the sac!) continue growing as they should

Thats good that you now know the reason for the bleeding. I have a really good feeling for you this time! I found this for you
AgeNormal Fetal Heart Rate
5 Weeks (Beginning)80-85 bpm
5 Weeksstarts at 80 and ends at 103 bpm
6 Weeksstarts at 103 and ends at 126 bpm
7 Weeksstarts at 126 and ends at 149 bpm
8 Weeksstarts at 149 and ends at 172 bpm
9 Weeks155-195 bpm (average 175 bpm)
12 Weeks120-180 bpm (average 150 bpm

So, it looks like your LO's heart is beating perfectly! I am sure everything will be fine and as said once you see the heart beating next week the risk of pregnancy loss goes down dramatically.

I have my nurse consult scheduled for the day after tomorrow. I am so excited that we ARE moving ahead again. I don't have my protocol yet, but they said I will start med mid-November and transfer early December. DH will have to travel in early December, but they said we can use a frozen Semen sample. They said it won't make a difference. Anybody with experience in that matter?

Yes. Sooo relieved to see the heart beat up and normal not just for its size but for its age too!

I don't have any experience using frozen sperm but plenty, plenty of women have done that successfully because they used donors. So just a few weeks for you to start meds. Yipee!! Are they changing up your protocol? I can't remember if you told me before.

Off to see the OB this morning. Hoping to get a referral to the peri ASAP!

How did the OB visit go!
Yes, they will be changing my protocol. No Lupron this time, and not sure what I will be using for stims.

Ohh that's right. Lupron is junk!

My appointment went great! Had an unexpected u/s and although her machine wasn't advanced enough for measurements I did get to see the heart beat which is always a relief. I also got to see what I believe are the beginnings of arm and leg buds! Soooo cute. I have an appointment with the peri next week.

How is your baby coming along? It's a shame we're not in the same DD group, being this close together!

So I had my nurse consult today and they gave me my protocol.
Baseline set for November 21st, Stimming starts on the 23rd, Retreival around December 4-7, transfer around 7-12th (depending on 3 or 5 day transfer) and Beta around December 20th. Hubby's birthday is the 21st. This would be such a wonderful gift to him and for me for Christmas!
I am excited!!!!!! How are you doing???? Did the bleeding totally stop? Symptoms kicking in?
