Overdue May Moms...

I was just curious as to how many of us there actually are and if you have an induction date set.. I went in Tuesday(3 days overdue) for my appointment and was told that it was normal for first babies to be 7-10 days late and that we would start talking about induction next week.. My next appointment isn't until the day before I turn 42 weeks... So if he doesn't come on his own then I'm going to be seeing 42 weeks and possibly even becomming a June mom instead of May..  

I got my membranes stripped yesterday, but no induction date.
I'm so depressed.

WTF? Start "talking" about it next week? That's a long time to be overdue, especially if they won't "set a date" for next week. Just talk about inducing you. Well, hopefully you go into labor soon! Good luck!

Im not overdue yet but I have a feeling im going to be   My due dates in 4 days.. I'm sure ill be back to post abt the induction date and everything!

Yep and the great part of all of that is that they start out with the gel first.. So it's just another waiting game.. Granted I'm not keen on getting induced but I don't want to be pregnant forever either.. Hopefully he's here by this weekend..

Atleast they did something.. She didn't even mention stripping membranes as an option... She just sat there telling me that we would start talking about induction next week and that they start off with the gel.. Meaning another waiting game for me.. Woohoo...   I just sat there trying not to cry because I was so frustrated with them... They we're all about inducing me around 36 weeks because of his weight and the fact that my fluid was high... Once the fluid was normal again the talk about inducing me stopped.. Wtf? It's not like the baby shrunk...

I'm due today and they won't induce me unless there is a problem or until 42 weeks... i have had zero signs of oncoming labor but i'm praying that this weekend out of the blue labor will start...I can't handle being pregnant anymore... I have a 14 month old and i can't keep up with her, poor thing is bored to death

Yep im overdue as well, I have an appointment tomorrow but last week they told me they wouldnt do anything until im 14 days over  depressing isnt it! Ive run out of things to do....

Yeah I hope so! My brother and SIL are coming into town this weekend to see the baby if she decides to come out by then & for her brothers graduation party so I was hoping they would be able to meet her but im not too sure on that happening! Im sorry to hear that you have shitty doctors!!! You should ask them to strip your membranes on the day she puts the gel inside of you. I guess a lot of people go into labor a couple hours later after they have it done. And, im sure if you asked them about it they might consider it!! I would think so atleast. Im planning on asking mine about it I think tomorrow at my appointment. Im definitely not someone who wants to be induced either so I would rather try and have my membranes stripped to see if anything happens. I've heard of people wanting to get induced so someone could see the baby but.. I definitely dont want that. If she decides shes not coming out.. then I guess shes not coming out!  

I'm due today actually, and at my doctor's appointment yesterday he was talking about inducing me this saturday!!! I really had to give it some thought (because trust me I would love for this girly to come out sometime soon) but i decided to give her one moreweek with hopes that she will come out into the world on God's time. So I scheduled another appointment for next wednesday...Hopefully I'll go into labor before then...... 

i'm due this saturday, and yup no baby yet iver here either! i have my last dr.app tomorrow but the doc said they would set up an inducing app. for next week sometime, i hope i go into labor tonight! i walked for an hour today i think i'm gonna go for another hour walk later. i wasnt this close to my due date with my son so whats goin on? i thought the 2nd time was supposed to easier?

Same here but Im due in 3 days. Its so frustrating b/c my daughter came 2 days early and the dr has been telling me that this one would probably come even earlier... I even took off work early b/c the dr was telling me it could be any time  but on a plus side my house hasent been cleaner in months

my dr.told me the same thing,and i'm due this saturday,it sure is frustrating..i really hope i dont go over!

Well, I'm going on day two after having my membranes stripped and I've had nothing happen. I was told if it's successful, labor will start in 48 hours.
