Is it too much to ask?

I am going to NY next month for only 5 days. I have friends and family to see and visit. Kayden has to spend time with my family, my friends, his dad, and grandma. I want to have a set plan with times and dates as to where he will be each day. His dad was the first one I asked when he wanted to see him and his response was "You know I don't like to plan". Well, most of the time because he doesn't follow through but really, we are going there for 5 days, whatever you have going on can wait, you don't need to party that weekend...I told him that I would just ask him mom when she wanted him and he can see him then but he doesn't agree with that either!

I'm so annoyed, I am giving him more than a month to take a day or 2 just for his son that he hasn't see in 5 months. Really? is it that hard for him to actually plan and make the best out of it?? Am I asking for too much??

Honestly, I would just tell him to either make a set plan, or forget about it.
It doesn't sound like he's too interested IMHO.
Don't go out of your way if he doesn't even want to bother to take time to see his son.

I know! I am just always trying...he did send me half of the flight because I told him if he didn't he wouldn't get to see him. He tells me he misses him, I just need him to put more effort, I do not want to get there and have him changing plans like if I don't have anything else to do.
