  that's crappy. Knocked DDs out in one day. Oral meds took a week when we had it the first time. Then I discovered gentian violet the secon time haha. Miracles!

His pediatrician didnt notice anything abnormal at his doctor's appointment. I'm going to bring it up at the next one which is a few days away. LO seems fine. Thrush is terrible. I had it a few times as a kid.

They told me that the Fluconazole will get into my milk and help LO some. We shall see at his next appointment. I really want to breastfeed but it seems like we keep getting hit with one problem after another. We are pushing through though.

Sorry sweetie. At least it's things u can nurse through and are treatable. I'd rather take meds for yeast infection that deal with supply issues and latching issues. I also had a couple yeast infections. It sucks. But once u take the meds it goes away pretty quickly. If LO does get it I would go with gentian violet. The quicker you knock it out the better chance u have not to catch it again. It can be an endless cycle. Nystatin just takes too long to completely clear it.

We have latching issues and now supply issues because of the latching and infection. He keeps tongue thrusting and refuses to take my nipple. I'm forced to use a nipple shield. Hopefully, he will wean off of it soon. We rented a pump till ours comes in. My supply has gone up a little again.

Good luck. That's so frustrating. Are you Gettig engorged? That's what caused my yeast infections. Cause the milk was like sitting in there stagnant.

No. I was for like a day and then it let up. LO had a good feeding today on one side. I switched him to the other but it didnt produce much. I kept him on there for a while so hopefully it will start making more. My SNS feeder broke today. DH put it in the sterilizer and it got warped.   So mad!

and i dont think there selling them any more and if they are its a lot of money.

Boo! We got ours from the LC at the hospital. I'll try to wing it without it but if need be, I'll call her and beg for another. It was made by Medela. It helped us so much but hopefully now that I'm making more milk, I wont need it.
