Manual breast pumps?

posted 17th Sep
I'm looking to EBF this little one when it arrives and wanted feedback on Manual breast pumps... I can't lug a big one into work, and don't even know which one to buy, I just wanted feedback on if there are some really good ones out there I should look into first... TIA!

If you're gonna be pumping at work it's gonna be better to have an electric. Medela makes them in all sizes and they look like they're in a purse. If you're pumping for work it's better To splurge on a good efficient one. You can go single electric if u want a more compact one but If you're limited on time then go double.

Check with your insurance company. Many cover breast pumps.

I pump about 15 minutes on each breast and I can get 8ozs out of each breast.

I BF'd DD but I never pumped, I just manually expressed and it was SO frustrating... I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get a pump this time around, save the headache!

I also got the medela from the hospital. You should check with the hospital to see if they provide one

Eh, I doubt it, It's a military hospital, and they're so undermanned I doubt they do stuff like that... Way too many patients and not enough resources!

lwhen i was actually able to pump, i used evenflo.

i really liked it. my grandmother bought it for me at kamrt for 20 bucks. used it for 2 weeks (lost all my milk). its really comfortable. it hurt the first couple times, but, i dont think i used it right. after that, it was absolutely fine.

it comes with one pump and a 9oz bottle to store your milk in. the one that i got.
