Vitex Capsules for ttc

My periods have been all over the place since my daughter was born i didn't receive a period in till she was 15 months because i was bfing.But after we stopped my periods have been all over the place.This was our first month trying and i feel i should try and regulate my period i researched and found this helps has anyone tried it?

I'm taking vitex this cycle. So far it possibly is helping me. For the past two months I've worried if I ovulated or not. It wasn't showing on my temps or on OPKs but I had a chemical pregnancy last month so I knew I had. Well now, I'm getting almost positives on OPKs and lots of ewcm... if I get pregnant this cycle I will let you know. I take one vitex in the morning before I eat, and one at night. I'm going to stop as soon as I know I ovulate and then if I am not pregnant, I'm going to start taking it on cd 1.

Me too!! Thanks! I got mine at a healthfood store for 5.80 or someting like that. Very reasonable. 400mg a pill. I read that you should take up to 1000 mg a day so I'm sticking with 800 mg a day  

It is the best!!! Worked wonders, its the only reason I got pregnant lol. I hope it works for you  

Thanks still waiting on af it was due yesterday ..Hoping i get a bfp but i tested at 10po and got a bfn so i want to wait it out till i know forure i can get bfp..When did u take ur vitex till o of till after?

I hope you get your bfp! I stated Dec 3, 2011, I took it for 3 months and got my bfp on March 9. I took the max dose for a month and half, then each month after I cut it down till I was on 3 pills a day. Then after I found out I was pregnant I stayed on it till about 6 or 7 weeks.. just slowly weened my self off.. It worked for me I wish there was more info about what to do after lol

So the vitex worked !! Congrats girl fingers crossed for me .. I ovulated right on 14 days hope it's out month
