Diet Plan: Food. Tips?

posted 17th Sep
*Safe foods:
Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese
Tofu
Veggies (except no potatoes at dinner!)
Fruit
Tea/Milk
Water
Bread
Hummus

**Monday through Friday:
Carbs are to be only eaten during breakfast and lunch. Salad or veggie snack for dinner. Meat is to be avoided.

**Saturday and Sunday:
Relaxed days. Carbs can be eaten in small quantities throughout the day. Meat is to only be eaten at one meal per day.

Water is to be drank 95& of the time. I am allowing myself one glass of tea (sweetened with Splenda ONLY) with one meal (preferably dinner).

*Just because these are listed as "safe foods" doesn't give me the go ahead to eat as much as I want. Meal must fit into small bowl or onto a small plate
** Dinner (or last meal) cannot be consumed after 7:30 p.m.

Any critiques?

My mother is a health nut, and she always told me not to eat carbs in the first half of the day because it causes your body to crash earlier.

So even to this day I stick with fruit and granola in the morning.

Why no meat? Chicken and fish are fantastic for you. Remember your protein. You do have other proteins there (cottage cheese, etc) but if you're not a vegetarian, I'd get some meat in there.
I completely cut out white potatoes, I only eat sweet potatoes now.
Whole wheat or ezekiel bread.
I also eat 5 times a day. Breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, snack.
Gym 4 days a week
Btw, yummmm Hummus, lol
Take a good multi-vitamin as well.
GOOD LUCK!!!
