so worried..... any thoughts on this?

i've posted before about how i went to the ER for some (TMI) brown discharge(that was light) cause i wasn't sure it was normal and they did and ultrasound and saw nothing (i was at 4 weeks or so) so they said i had a "freak" miscarriage, but sent me to the obgyn in 2 days to make sure..... well the ob said my HCG levels went up enough for her to think i'm okay and the baby is still there.

right now i'm waiting for medicaid to kick in before i can go to the ob and get my levels checked again and maybe another ultrasound. i've been testing and my last POS test came back with a darker test line than the control line (which i heard is a good sign). i'm just scared that i'm going to go back to the ob and she will tell me the ER is right and she was wrong. i never had anything that seemed like a miscarriage would be. my period was 9 days late last month but acted like a normal period. idk if it was late cause of stress or what..? but either way nothing seems to calculate up but i feel like i missed something. those 2 days were so rough they haunt my memories.

July 26-27th - period missed
August 3rd (8 to 9 days late) - got my period lasted for 7 to 8 days like normal
September 4th - 3 positive pregnancy tests!
September 5th - was in the ER and told "freak" miscarriage
September 7th - visited OB/GYN and was told HCG levels went up (yay!)
September 15th - darker test line than control line on Positive test.
Symptoms: Headaches, boobs hurt (ugh), nausea, feels like what is described as round ligament pains, pee a lot!, nose is sensitive, crave certain foods (but that could just be me haha/)

do you think all is still okay or that i could have had a miscarriage still and the OB is wrong? i'm a worry wart lol.

if you were 4 weeks in the hospital with spotting I think you are fine, you could have implantation bleeding?

thats what i was thinking and the ob said she thought that was it. she said as long as it wasn't red.

Yeah deff, with my early miscarriages it was always like a really heavy painful period.. And at 4 weeks i don't think they can see anything on the ultrasound. I will tell you that I miscarried once at 10 weeks and my levels went up as I was loosing the pregnancy, don't know why. But I bled like a mad man, clots and stuff. keep your head up.

i'm sorry for you loss  

i didn't have any clots or anything like that around my period in August. it seemed completely normal and annoying as usual.

4 weeks is very early to see anything on an ultrasound. Hopefully everything is fine. If you aren't bleeding red and your levels are rising it doesn't sound like a MC.

thats what the US tech said. she said if nothing comes up it doesn't always mean you're not pregnant. just too early. but the stupid er doctor i guess didn't talk to the tech and just took it into her own hands.

I've read sometimes it can take 10/12 weeks to see anything on an ultrasound especially if you have a tilted uterus.

I have miscarried at 6 weeks, which I think would be similar to 4 weeks. It was similar to a heavy period with cramping. If your HCG levels are rising then I would say you are fine. In the mean time to help cool your nerves go to the store and get a Clear Blue and Easy digital. There is no mistaking the reading on that! Good luck!

The fetus can't be picked up on ultrasound till six weeks
