Contractions stopped ?!?!?

I was having contractions about every 5 to 7 mins for 8 hours today and now nothing. I know I have 3 weeks to go but since I have a bicornute uterus I was told preterm labor would be nothing new, but man I was getting excited. Anyone have any ideas on how to get them to come back. (Husband is not here so sex would be a no) I still have alot of pressure and i am very uncomfortable in the pelvis.

i would call your ob just to be on the safe side.... also warning you are about to get your butt ripped... just a matter of time

They stopped because you're baby isn't ready to be born yet. Nothing will make you go into labor until your child is ready. and with the whole 7 pounds and chunky.. that's just an estimate, they don't actually know how big your baby will be.

I would call your ob and see what they want you to do. No one is going to give you tips on how to induce labor. The weight they told you is just an estimate. So it can be a problem, you have no idea how big/small he really is.

Keep your bub in there. Preterm labor might not be anything new, but its not something you should do on purpose. Be patient, and hope your son will be too.

i no how u feeling i have been getting this since 35 weeks and lasting sometimes all day im now 37 weeks and i am still getting them as painful as they are getting and uncomfortable they are i wouldnt induce labour yet even though the baby will not be classified as premature as its after 37 weeks i still would wait till the baby is ready as alot of things they say doesnt really work anyway.....good luck x
