Spotting guestion

Anyone have spotting and then it stop? About an hour ago I have a spot of bright red blood. Just check again, 10 minutes ago and nothing. I had some mild cramps this morning. Now the seem to have gone away.

Bright red blood is not good. Call your doctor ASAP.

it's normal. i spotted a few times with red blood and i had cramps till 10 weeks. if it gets worse then call your doctor

I was seen Monday for spotting and cramps and everything is fine. I would still go to the Dr. Beacuse everyone is different. Its more common that I thought for people to bleed in the first trimester.

It CAN be normal for some people but not in all cases. You need to go see a doctor.

I bled thur out my whole pregnancy with Arieanna....and it was BRIGHT red. Bright red blood is a concern tho, call ur doc. Everyhing eneded up fine with Arieanna tho, it was just WAY scary! I will get my story just for reassurance!

I did call doctor before I posted comment, the nurse said I could come in for a blood test then retest on Saturday at the hospital. But because the doctor is closed on Saturday & Monday is a holiday. I would not know the results until Tuesday. Which is the day I have my ultrasound appt. Just sucks!

Here is a little story of what happened to me...nuts believe me everyone was for sure I miscarried!!

I had this BAD! It stared at 14 weeks....I was at school when I had this strange feeling that somthing wasnt right. I rushed the the bathroom and notcied I was beleding horribly!! I mean really bad bright red blood...I was for SURE I misscarried. I mean the toliet was FULL of blood!!!I ran out to my teacher and she rushed me to the ER . My mom who is a RN was even sure I lost Arie, she was reassurring me that there is nothing we could do. Blake even told me he was sorry and he felt that it was his fault and we will try again. I was devisated....I was already trying to cope by the time I got to the ER, I was so shaky and bawling. I coldnt even look at any kids. When I seen the doctor he told me that its normally to late for a misscarriage and that he wanted tocheck for a heart beat....sure enough my baby was beating strong! They rushed me to an emegnancy U/S where is showed us that Arieanna was 100% fine! The only issue was that my placenta become dettached toward the beginning of my cervix. I was so blessed! They told me I have about a 50% percent cant of carrying to term. The only thing they could do was order no sex, not lifting and stay off my feet too much. They said they dont even put women on bed rest for it any more. Anyways...my whole pregnancy I continued to bleed. I would think it was healed and go about my life and BAM I wold start back up. Honestly I think sex had ALOT to do with it. I think everytime it healed and we thjought we had the okay, we would just open the tear back up. Well happy ending tho, I gave birth to my perfectly healthy daughter! You couldnt even tell I had such a diffcult, stressful pregnancy! Crazy stuff, I hope I dont have to go through that ever agian with another pregnancy! Take care momma....sorry I blabbed too much ; )

OMG! Thank you for sharing! What a story. That sounds really scary. After the first scare, did you have spotting throughout your pregnancy or larger espiodes of bleeding?

It would range from spotting to ushes like that. Mainly spotting after that first time. It would be fine for a while, then bam there would be blood agian....each time just as scary u know. Did u have sex recently or anything like that??

Well when i spotted with my first pregnancy my doctor pretty much put me on bedrest and told me no sex or anything like that until i got my blood test back so you might want to take it easy.

No sex, recently. I just went to bathroom and no blood, nothing at all. This morning before I saw the blood. I had cramping for about an hour, then saw the blood after a bowel movement. wonder if it could be from straining, blood was from vag. I know that for sure.
Nurse did say something about it could be blood vessel or sign or miscarriage. Hoping for #1. Please god!

Yes, straining is VERY possible...along with the blood vessel! I will def. pray for you and ur baby! God bless you hun, take care!

I had spotting for almost a week and a half straight but it was brown. Totally freaked me out! but so far so good. Good luck to you, we'll be thinking about you!
