PPD the smurf HELP

so my PPD is back and smurfing worse this time.. last time i didnt want to take meds.. this time i do. i cant take zoloft or anything in the zoloft family due to me being highly allergic to the crap..

but just now i was fine then all of a sudden my LOs cry set me off making me want to scream i had to step away.. well DH comes into the room and say whats wrong i say my head.. ive also been having migraine after migraine.. well anyway i told him my head i need a moment to cool down.. and he gets pissed and slams the door..

im tired of people not smurfing understanding.. i dont have any friends either to talk t which doesnt smurfing help... im just sick of this smurf and im getting to the point i want nothing to do with my youngest and very little with my oldest.

I'm very sorry your having to go through this and with no one to understand it either.   ((hugs)) I hope that you'll be able to find someone who can relate to you in this situation.

I had bad depression after my last. I went to the psych ward for a couple days. Best thing I could have done.

I understand, I've had the same thing... I'm on lexapro tho sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't... my issue is with my 11 month old though... he whines all the time, he is into absolutly everything, I just wanna scream all the time... my SO doesn't get it either... if you need to talk you can pk me...

been to one of those to many times as a child.. they would just upset me more.

Can you reach out to a doctor to see if counselling or another medicine will help? I've never had it, but I just lost my best friend in August to it, and am willing to be a listening ear.

i hear you there i have two under two.. my oldest refuses to talk so when he get upset he screams and crys and when he talks he just screams in a good way but its still screams. i love my children but this is just making me want nothing to do with them.. and that makes me feel even worse.. and i dont cry even tho i want to cuz i know DH would be like wth is wrong ..

i have never heard of that med i will have to look into it.

my doctor will listen but im way way out of town right now and will be for a while due to family emergency. i might just call him.

That is better than nothing, even if he has to refer you to someone there, or call in something to help.

thats what i was thinking.. maybe he might be able to call something in until i come back home.

just looked into that med cant take it its listed as a part of the zoloft family..

I hope so. I hope you're able to feeling better. It scares me to hear about anyone battling ppd after losing my friend because she wasn't on the right medicine.

Effexor XR, Paxil, Pristiq, or remeron. There are tetracyclics that work wonders. There is a smurf load of antidepressants that aren't in the zoloft family.
