ultra sounds?!?!?

Hey girls! i have my 4d uultrasound on tuesday. i had one last sunday but baby refused to move and play fair have any of you got any tips or advice on how to make sure babys awake for the scan and moving so we can get decent pictires and i can have a good old nosey at the baby? thanks girls oh ps ill be 29 weeks when i have it xxxxxxxxx

Drink some juice a little bit before the ultrasound and perhaps eat. That may do the trick.

The funny thing is, when I went in for my 4d with my youngest, even though I ate and drank soda on the way to the 4d place, the ultrasonographer still had a hard time getting him to wake up and move around. Till this day, my little guy is still just as stubborn.

i may play the tumpet b4 hand haha to try n wake the baby up hehe i just dnt wanna have to wait again i wanna see babys face hehe it drives me mad!

I drank a V8 before my 4-d and it had my baby doing back flips

No,Its like a tomato juice drink.
I think it only made her go nuts because its not something I would normally drink.I knew soda and juice wouldnt work because I drank it all the time.

I don't think you'll have any problems in the cuteness department. Almost all babies are cute.

i drank some sunny d....but i also made my appointment late in the afternoon when he's usually active...he cooperated for a few minutes till his dad called him an alien baby then after that he got pissed and put his hand in front of his face and wouldn't move it. lol. he also made a pretty ugly face right after being called an alien baby by his dad. hehehe.

i had the same issue - we have 2 feet and 2 hand in front of the face plus also the umbilical cord.. we were there for 4 hours trying to get the lil bub to move their hands and feet... we tried all the food/drink, doing star jumps, rubbing and jiggling belly, pilarties etc etc

In the end my partner got annoyed and held me down and tickled my feet - i was thrashing around so much the 2 feet and i arm totally disappeared so did most of the unbilical cord and one hand was at the side of the face.

My ultrasonographer was shaking my belly like crazy to get Ayden to wake up and move his hands out of his face. The funny thing was, he was kicking and moving up until I got up on the bed.

When she finally woke him up, he made this pissed off face. It was funny. We also caught some pictures of him smiling his little butt off.
