I hope I'm pregnant...

posted 16th Sep
For some reason, I really hope I'm pregnant. 19 is young, but I think I'm ready for this. (:

I'm hoping for a positive mark!

I wasn't. Then I started experiencing symptoms way early, and now I just hope!

Well if you think your ready and afford the baby without depending on others then go for it and good luck! I'm 18 and pregnant with my first , it wasn't planned but we know we can handle it and we do afford it so we are happy!

Don't get your hopes up too high, that way if you arent, you arent crushed that you arent.

when someone says "I think I'm ready" they usually aren't...honestly babies are a hell of a lot of work and I had my son at 19 and wish I would've held off getting pregnant so young...I wish I could've enjoyed my boyfriend(husband now) more...like I wish we had grown up a little more...we had the stability of a relationship which is also VERY necessary to bring a child up the way most parents want to (with both parents very active in the childs life and to raise them together)....

but really nothing anyone says is going to change your mind..

hunny, I hope you get whatever result you want, but being a mommy at 19, is difficult. No matter what age. I thought I was prepared, hell did I know!? I wasn't. Having a baby is the most amazing experience, but take your time. I don't regret my son at all, but I know we should have waited. Like the other woman said, I wish I had more time just SO and I. Now we're mommy and daddy 24/7.

Hell, I am 23 and wish I would have waited longer...at least until I got the chance to go to college and finish it.

SO was getting paid a grand a week. He is layed off now, can't find a job, and we are living on a fixed income from unemployment. The only job I can get is making 400 every two weeks at a min wage job because I have no higher education.

If he ever left, I would be screwed. My rent is 400 bucks alone. I couldnt pay for utilities, diapers, or anything else.

Hell no. Imagine those last few minutes you are waiting for the parents to come home, only they never show. That is what it's like. ha ha.

I think being a mom at any age is difficult really.... I've seen some young moms be a lot better to their children than an older mom , I think it really just depends on each person

I became a parent at 19 & I would honestly recommend waiting. Not many 19-yr-olds can financially support a child on their own.
