Wii fit

posted 21st May
I'm pregnant with my second child and I want to have a good pregnancy this time without all the complications of last time, so my husband and I purchased Wii Fit, all I can say is wow! It's really motivating it has an built in scale and tells you if your under/normal/ over weight or if you obesse, your able to do the daily weigh in to see your progress andyou can password protect your info for other will not see. I have worked out twice sincewe got it today and my body is starting to feel it i have already lost 1/2 lb when i weighed my self again. The work outs are fun they range from hulla hooping,to jogging, to yoga and so on. As an SAHM who doesnt have the time or money to join the gym I think that will turn out to be a great investment.------Just wanted to put my input of the game out there, has anyone else tried it?

I have heard thats it great fun, my dad has got it and he is 57 yrs old, and says the work out is great, the only down side is though, please dont take in account of your weight being right or the BMI as some young girls have gone on it and have been told that they are overweight (these girls are between 11- 14yrs old) and when in fact that they are not overweight, i would weigh myself on normal scales and take if from there..
But apart from that enjoy...have fun...

thats the only downside its very harsh when it comes to the weighing i'm 5'8 yea i might be up in the weight and post this preg my doc says im healthy but the fit says im obesse i got a little upset at first but i was like its just a game ,i know some can not handle being told there over weight when there not ,so for them, like you said they should skip the weigh in on the game and do it for themselves

Yea thats the only way he will buy me a system is if its used so he can use his discounts and he makes me save up for new games that i want ,he makes me putdown like $5 bucks everytime he gives me cash, so when the game comes out I already have it paid off

I got mine for 200...so they aren;t that expensive anymore...and I have to say they ARE VERY worth it...just the normal games give you a pretty good work out too. And I like knowing my 7 yr old is getting a workout if she's gonna be playing a video game. So, after this baby comes I'm gonna get the Wii fit
