Nice piercing
I've heard a lot of advice on piercing care from sea salt soaks, to only doing that if you're NOT in a dry climate, to only use anti-bacterial soap to clean it, etc etc
A little ice can help with swelling, and or a pain killer.
What worked best for me and my piercings was washing them in the shower with a tiny bit of non-scented gentle bar soap. Every couple of days I would clean them, front and back, with peroxide or rubbing alcohol. That has a chance of drying it out, fyi.
I had a doctor tell me to use Neosporin cream (not the greasy gel stuff) and that helped a bit too, especially with the swelling.
If it doesn't go down in a couple days, have a doctor check it just in case.

Good luck!

make sure your hair is secured away from it. Use a bobby pin or clip it make sure your hair stays away. The natural oils from your hair can easily cause it to get infected. That will hurt like a biotch for a while if it does.
