There are hundreds of gods from thousands of religions, and each has around a million advocates. Your children have only their parents when it comes down to it.

Your gods DON'T need you, nor will they notice if you withdrew from them. Your children need you like you need your god.

Put your children first. Any god who demands otherwise is more of a trickster-spirit.

I didn't mean any disrespect, sorry if it came across that way.Maybe I should have worded it differently.

I think a lot of those that were called gods were/are really just mischievous hungry ghosts. Not yours specifically, but many throughout history. It sounds like a crazy theory, I guess.
I don't have a religion. Raised Catholic, but it never "took" with me. Scouted around other faiths, read a little on all of them, just can't pick one.

and that's actually a story in most faiths. About children and gods at least one good thing about this world is most people aren't that gullible to praise a god that's practically a baby. Anyhow it's terrible I don't get why many faiths actually punish children if they're not apart of the faith... That's not a merciful GOD. And a religion that doesn't have many roads rome like hinduism isn't kind. It's quite cruel imo. And that doesn't just apply to heaven.
