Yeah, that sounds like an awesome place for a girl in middle school!
Lets just make her life hard from the start. No job, no car, no license (no ability to even get any yet by law) and throw a baby in the mix, not even in high school.
If she is going to give birth to the child, at least give the kid a chance at a good life.

I absolutely doubt a 13 year old being emancipated is very realistic. Especially if her parents aren't unfit.

You are the first person I have heard say that. They help so many people here.

Pretty sure you can't get emancipated unless there is a real reason, like your parents are smurffy and aren't caring for you and you are caring for yourself already.

Right. Or maybe you're AT LEAST old enough to have a job.

OP - you got to talk to someone. Find out your options, find out what it takes to be a mom. Adoption would be an amazing thing for you to do. Best of luck.

What is best emotionally?
I would ask her the same thing with a baby at 13, just saying. That's pretty damn emotionally damaging.

I know a few people who they didn't do anything for. Maybe it's my area. Most women around here just don't even bother anymore.

I agree...but if she's not going to listen to sound advice, she should at least know her options.
Even if her parents won't support her to go through adoption, places like that can help until she delivers and provide adoption support.

Here in Oklahoma, the parents could be charged with fetal homicide if they forced an abortion... so, I'm sure the judge here would grant emancipation based on that.

You don't know if she's in HS or not. Not that it matters, it's her body, her emotions, and her family life.
She should at least know all of her options before making a choice, or being forced into a choice.
However, I'm wondering if it was an accident or not.. considering her SN.

At 13.. it would be best emotionally to abort. Not to keep or adoption. I was 24 when I did adoption and it is hard. And I had the mind set for adoption.. I highly doubt at 13 she has that mind set.

Uhm...you have to make a certain amount of money to be emancipated.
