single mothers

I never seen myself as becoming a single mother but today when I was at my first ultra sound it gave me the strength I needed to rethink this whole single mom thing: believe me I need advice from any of you single mothers on the best ways to about doing things yourself. But when I seen the heartbeat my heart was so warm and filled with joy. I will be the proudest single mother ever.

Its hard. I wont lie it is HARD.

This is your first child right? Then being a single mom is how you will learn. I think it's easier when you start a single mom because that is just how you learn to raise a child. I was a single mom til my son was 3.5 years old. Financially it's straining, but everything else is easy peasy.

Take everything one day at a time. It seems like a hugely impossible task, but it's not, I promise. Been doing it for 3 years and there are times I wanna rip my hair out and scream but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I agree.. Its harder when you are in a relationship with a kid and then become a single mom.

LIke she said its harder when your in a relationship raising child together then becoming single, but being single while pregnant is the best!! Who cares, if they didnt care to stick around. =) Its not as hard as people say it is , I quickly got over all that heartbreak whenever I feel her kick or hear her heartbeat.

Just 2 more my mo. till MY baby is here, not his!
