Babys due in 5 weeks tomorrow and we still dnt have a name if its a girl. if its a boy we have agreed on Zachary Nathanial Freeman if its a girl we wuld like the middle name Dorothy for family reasons. we both kind of like liked Lucie as a 1st name but I'm not sure if Lucie Dorothy Freeman. Goes?? Any opinions of suggestions? Also when did you have your hospital bags packed from , baby bedding and clothes washed fresh from ect? Xxxx thankyou
I think the 'ee' sound at the end of Lucie, and Dorothy make it not flow as well. I like
Quoting ~Jekka~:" I think the 'ee' sound at the end of Lucie, and Dorothy make it not flow as well. I like Ava Dorothy ... [snip!] ... I like Ava Dorothy Maeve Dorothy Belle Dorothy Gabrielle Dorothy Maya Dorothy Lyla Dorothy Margaret Dorothy Cailin Dorothy"
think its nice but if u are unsure mayb put somthing between the names ...
we like bella and my hubby wants mary in there and i want maria so we desided bella mary maria . the 2 a at the end together was to much .. his family call me bella cause there italian and his moms name is mary and my neice is maria ... i think what ever u like besides how many times are u going to say the babys full name! a few when shes born to tell ppl good luck !
...I seem to have a thing for E names, lol! Or maybe it's because 'E' comes after 'D' in the alphabet?
...not sure why but Dorothy seems to be one of those names that is difficult for me to use as a middle name but easy to find middle names for. If you guys are having the same issue then maybe you could use Dorothy as the first name and call her by middle name? Just an idea. Or use another form of the name Dorothy for middle name? Like Dori, Dorette, Doreen, etc.? There are lots of versions of the name Dorothy, found that out when I was considering using it due to it also being a family name.
