2 RF Carseats in Acura TSX
posted 13th Sep
I posted this over at the car-seat.org forum and only got one reply so I thought I'd check here too. Z is almost 20 months, she's still RFing and I plan on keeping her that way until she hits the weight limit on the seat as it RFs. She's about 26 lbs right now. She is in a First Years True Fit C670. We drive a 2005 Acura TSX. Husband already mentioned getting a bigger car and I say HELL NO I love my car and I don't want a different car. The TrueFit is a monster and it's in the middle of the car. Any idea on good convertible seats that will fit side by side RFing in the back of my car? We've had Z in a convertible since birth and I prefer to do the same with #2 but I'm worried. Any hopeful stories for me?

Diono radians are slim, so they fit great side by side, but thee shell is very tall, and therefore can take up quite a bit of room with a newborn when the angle has to be rather reclined. There's an angle adjuster than can be used for the older kiddo though, so if you could fit one at a significant recline in the center, you could fit the other at a lesser recline behind driver or passenger.

#2!? CONGRATS!!! :]
Britax & Recaro both fit RF'ing in DH's little Volvo s40...and apparently they have horribly cramped backseats. So the TSX has got to have more room! The only issue is that the Recaro has a taller profile & makes it hard to see our part of the rear window.

YAY!!!! Congrats!!! Radians are very narrow, but pretty large. There is one that is really narrow and short, you could probably use that until Z is forward facing. I can't remember the name, starts with a c, I'll try to find it

OMG CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a 2011 Malibu and fits my sons snugride 35 with the front seat pulled up. My daughter is forward facing but it wouldn't read face if we tried.
