I am an older lady and very fine with bathing with kids of either sex. However my parents generation and I work with ladies who are all 40+., they would not approve of this and that is their opinion. Other countries might have family bathing but we don't do that here. I think this topic has gone a little too far. Opinions are not respected. This is sad. I have a niece who is 9 and she has been taking showers and bathing since she was 6 alone. I have to say it's odd a 10 year old would need help but hey if she needs help she needs help! I will not be re visiting this thread again-so please don't respond.

I don't think it's weird. I think it's weird that so many people are odd about nudity with family. Of course the bad touch/good touch should be taught... but if my daughter sees me or my Mom or sister or niece naked... who cares! She showers with me at times and I still wash Lily's hair (shes  . My Mom takes baths with her sometimes. We are a family that doesn't think nudity is bad. If it bothered her I'd respect that, but even tonight my daughter was walking around butt naked and I said "You should at least put undies on since you have dog hair all over your blanket." And she said "Okay!" and put some undies on, but thats it.

Cylus is natorious (sp) for walking in on my boyfriend when he is in the shower/going to the bathroom. My family finds it creepy but he has been in their lives for 2 years now and we don't find it odd. lol I'm just like ehhh its time he has a good man in his life anyways.
