OP, my mom died when I was 11. My dad was LOST, when she died I hadn't gotten my period, started shaving my legs, gotten any breasts, nothing. He never even knew when I needed new clothes and I was embarassed to ask. Its really nice to see someone being so proactive without their wife, I wish my dad would have had a resource like this. All I had was my grandma and the packaging of things like tampons

Ignore the other twat who wants to call you fake. I think what you're doing for your daughter is a great thing... some girls would kill for a dad that's as involved as you. If I had anything happen to me, I'd love if SO was as involved as you are.

Thanks so much, that's very nice. Jenny might disagree with you in how involved I am.   but my goal is for her to like how I raised her when she's 30. Not when she is 10.

Good job! Make sure and ask her frequently if she feels she doesn't have enough jeans, shoes, blah blah make up blah blah, I think you get the picture. Tell her she's free to ask for deodorant or razors when she feels she's ready. You might be ready for deo before she is, preteens are SMELLY, even girls

OP ignore the twits...also remove any and all personal information about yourself and your child. Also do not post any pics from FB or other social networking sites because the twit BG detectives will then tell the entire world who you are, where you live, and what not.
