If ur still comfortable doing it I would continue, if ur becoming uncomfortable, I would start showing her how to wash her hair good, and get her a loofa with the stick attached.

One day she will kick u out of bathroom, or scream when u walk in lol that's when u will know to leave her alone

No, I'm not in with her. When she was younger yes.
I sit on the edge of the tub now.

I was raised in the mountains and we took family baths, its not at all weird to me. In other cultures, tribal cultures the entire tribe will bathe together. In Europe in bath houses it happens with all ages, nude beaches, honestly its all subjective. Go with what works for you, not anyone else.

She will let you know for sure when she is ready to do it on her own.

My dd is 10 and only showers and she does it all by herself too. My 4 yr old bathes by herself and does her hair and body on her own. She does not like help at all. So take advantage of it while you can lol mine are way to independant sometimes

My daughters 5 and completely bathes herself. Id be trying to get her to do this independently since before long she'll have her period and I'm sure neither one of you will want each other in the bathroom for that

That's good advice, I love our time together and she days bathtime is her fav.

I was thinking I had a couple more years before her period. Ugh.

I wear bball sorts when i give my 2&4yr Olds bathes, they slash and water gets all over the place and you get soaked

I still have my 10 yr old hop in the shower with me on some rushed days when I have to get myself and 3 girls ready to go, and my 4 yr old hops in too. They wash themselves and all that but I dont think its weird and dd does not think its weird, she will ask me "mom can I come in with you" Sometimes I say no, but on rushed days its just quicker. lol

I would just wait until she asks to bathe alone, there's nothing wrong you helping her until then.
