'08 September Babies Group Number 2

This is a sister thread to the '08 September Babies Group posted by Danielle. It is for the slower mommies that don't have time to read through the 70+ posts a week and don't want their messages missed by the other slower mommies.

You're welcome. Hahaha, I miss getting to see some of the other mommies' progress because of not being able to get on, or getting looked over from too many posts.

Time for my update:

I had to go to L&D last night because I've been having contractions on and off since 19 weeks. I was having them non-stop the last two weeks... even when I sleep.Yesterday there was a spot of blood when I wiped.  

My nurse kept saying it was dehydration, but the l&d nurse asked me to come in and get evaluated. They hooked me up to the machine and I was having contractions every 5-10 minutes for 30 seconds or longer, even after an hour and a half on my side in the dark. I woke up from the contractions.

They swabbed me and I tested negative for infection and tested neg on the test that will tell if your baby is coming in two weeks.They said my urine was negative of infectionand there was no chance I was low on fluids. They were going to admit me, but my cervix didn't change so they let me go home. I have to be retested and examined at my next doctor's appt on June 4th. They said that my stuff was irritated, not sure what all they meant, but she said I need to be prepared for an early baby. Then she told me to try to hold it in a few more weeks, I don't want a 24 week baby.

I got moved to a lighter duty shift at work until after the baby and I have a restriction not to lift over 5-10lbs. And I have to rest often. They are talking about putting me on bedrest permanently. Joy of joys.

I haven't had any more blood, nor do I think I'm leaking amniotic fluid. I'll update you guys more after I see my doc. (She left out of town til my appt.)

So glad to hear that your little girl is hanging in there still. But sorry your having so much trouble. I try really hard to keep up with the other Sept thread, but end up reading the last few pages and then giving up. I mean, when I get home from work somedays I have missed 20 pages (yikes). Everything seems to be going good with me, although my heartburn is getting progressively worse.

I will deff be joining this group and staying in as long as we dont have post hogs on this one!   Nao, thanks for sending me this one! I hope she can hang in there but now it looks like even though your due date is after mine, your going to deliver before me!! So this may sound stupid.. : ) BUT what do contractions feel like lol.. I can tell they arent pleasant! Today is my 25 week marker!

Sorry to hear about all that... hope everything gets better for you!! We are due on the same day sohopefully your little girl will wait until then!!!

Angela - She's doing great, had a growth spurt and everything. Yay! She just wants out bad. When I get home from work I've easily missed 30 posts. Sometimes in a week it's jumped 100+. I, too, have horrid heartburn. I hate it. I have to avoid certain foods.... like poptarts.

Hailey - Glad to see you on here... was going to send you the link, but I asked Crystal and Amy (GM) to send them out to who ever. Feel free to pass the link on to other mommies, preferrably the ones that disappeared because the posting was too rapid. We need Danielle back. I got tired of duplicate questions on the same page over and over. I remember when we use to read all posts, even those that didn't have our names in them.

Ksmith - I have a texting buddy on the other thread, but I don't know who she is, I don't know if I've even seen her on. But I'll give you my number... 423-389-5771. I don't mind sharing it with the board, everything is unlimited and doesn't have my info attached to it. Anyone can have that number.

Crystal - Hopefully the dual threads will keep the posting cut down enough that we can keep up with it. Have you had any braxton-hicks contractions? Feels tight in your uterus? They are like that, only painful... they hurt into your back and down into your cervix. I can't quite describe the feeling... If you have a tight feeling before you pee or after sex... it's that same feeling, only worse and stronger. I have the BH all the time, too.   Just imagine a tight squeezey feeling. I hope that helps. My 25 week marker is Sunday. Yay!

Brittany Elyse - I hope she comes at 37 weeks... Aug 17th, because that is my dad and brother's birthday. They said she'd definately be early.

Thanks Lory for starting this! I am just sooooo unable to get on daily usually and I feel like I miss everything and never have time to catch up and see what's going on with all the other mommies! =0) I am sorry you had to go to L&D- that bites. Seriously. I really hope you do not have to go on full bedrest. I only had to do it a short time for #1 and man it was awful! I mean it was just awful mostly because I had to take care of myself and that was hard. (no one came over to help ever) And it was lonely- but laptops were not a big thing at the time. LOL

Its really good to hear that your are doing ok! I had lost track of you after you went to labor and delivery, because when I fall behind on the other thread I dont catch up, I just start from where ever they are at.

O yeah! Im due sept 7th 2008 with a boy!

Thanks Nao-I get a little tired of skimming so many pages of banter! I really hope everything holds out well for you and baby!
