This will be my fourth novel. I'm not sure if you can really count the first one though. I was in middle school. lol

BTW I want to refer you all to this site that I am a member of. It's pretty much like BG, but its for writers. You can't post for review or anything until you're an active member, but if you have questions about plot holes, writers block, or grammar questions it is a GREAT resource.

I need a last name for my characters. I'm bad at picking last names for character, because I tend to think of something that "sounds right" and then I realize that it's the name of someone I know or someone famous lol. So help please

I'm way too cold to get to 10k words tonight. I'm at 7k right now but its hard to type when I'm shivery. I don't have central heat lol... i need to move the heater to where its blowing on me

so far today I have gotten about 1000 words, but I have mainly been focusing on research. I know I will have time to do this later, but it's hard to write a story and not know the possible facts you will need to know. like the town my story is set in, I have never been there. I kinda picked it off a map, and then started researching it so I will actually know if my story makes sense there. weather, location, population... I feel accomplished though, so it's not a total waste

and I hate coming up with names too. I decided today I don't like the names I picked out, and even though these names have been with me for a while, I'm changing them.
