I'd been thinking that writing 1600-ish words a day would mean writing a chapter a day. I just wrote a chapter, and its 1500 words. I think I can go back and write more words. Also, I've suddenly realized I have no idea how to transition to my next plot point lol

I was using the outline I had saved from before NaNo started, but it was just an outline. I'm really worried about getting all my points across like I have them planned. I guess that's what December is for...

I'm with you on that one. My husband doesn't like reading, and I really doubt he'd like reading anything that I write. He might glance at the book if I got it published. lol

And I heard the 50 Shades of Gay somewhere the other night. I think it was on that TV show Partners.

I didn't even have any idea what I was going to write about until yesterday evening. We'll see where it goes from here. lol. I don't really have a plot outline or anything yet. Just a vague idea. So far it's depressing as smurf though. I need to figure out some comic relief STAT. lol

me too! I didnt think it was gonna take off, but I laughed my butt off this week

I'm up to 4148 after only two days. Not too bad, IMO. Especially with it being the weekend.

Nothiing wrong with that. I did some of that with my last novel, though I ended up rewriting everything I had written. With this one, like I said, I don't even really know where it's going yet, so I have to just go with the flow.

I really hope I can stick to this. I have a really problem with follow through. I can't tell you how many novels I've planned out over the years and never finished, some of which I never even started really. Most of my writing has been short stories and song lyrics lol. This is the longest I've ever stuck with a project (9 months)

I do that too. I've already written so much in my head for the later parts of the book. now I have to connect it all...
