re: Official NaNoWriMo thread!

yeah I worked on my "future" a little last night and today, but am drawing blanks on how to tie everything together. so I skip to the areas I know how to write.

I thought the same thing. I really think January or February would be best. Still too cold to go out and do much, but without all the holidays to screw everything up.

I assume, though, they did it because it was already National Novel Writing Month.

they should have picked july or august IMO. they both have 31 days (not like the extra day is gonna help me) and I wouldn't have to worry about getting up early to take kids to school so I could write all night... if I was so inclined, that is.

They actually do have one in July. It's just called JulNoWriMo instead.

Lets keep this thread going! Even if we don't hit our writing numbers or make it for this year, that doesn't mean we can't help each other! We can still use this thread to ask questions, get help, maybe even critiques and stuff.

haha it's okay. I have friends for life I met at weird gatherings.. even if we only talk online  

Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been super busy with a lot of stuff. I hope everyone's writing is coming along better than mine and I like the idea to keep this thread going even after November is done.

I was really hoping to get a bunch of writing in today and tomorrow before we left for my parents' for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, my son is sick so we have to take him to the pedi. He's had a recurring fever, three times in the last ten days. The nurse I spoke with wants to test him for strep throat. Our pedi is two hours away, so we're going to drive up there, have him seen, then hopefully head to my parents from there.

Luckily, I only have 5k left to write, so I think I can still pull it off.
