ok, just got hubby halo 4 so he's tied up with that. kids are fed and playing upstairs. i have no excuses.. I will get something accomplished today. Mandi- if you see me on any thread other than this one tonight, publicly shame me!

I wasn't much support for keeping you out of threads tonight, I had a dinner party to go to lol. I'm staying with my sister and left my power cord for my laptop! But I have my external drive with me, so I can work on her laptop while she's asleep lol

well I just cooked some Juicy Lucy's and now I am full and happy. time to sit down and write...

Good luck   I've gotten some planning done already today but not much writing

so I have done nothing in the past hour, except write some people from the area and ask questions for the story...

Lol I wrote like 700 words today

But... something exciting just happened. My sister, who has been writing her novel for two years, just finished editing! It's 91,000 words! I'm doing a once over for grammar bc hers isn't that great, and then she will be ready for beta reading. So I'm gonna put writing on hold for tonight (which sucks since I'm 4k words behind) and finish her editing. I'm so excited for her!

That's awesome. The one I'm in the middle of revising is right around 66k, but I'm doing a total rewrite on it, so grammar is kind of a moot point. lol

is this the one you are working on for nano right now?

No. I thought about doing that, but I decided I really wanted to stick with the spirit of Nano, so I started a new one from scratch. I'm just putting the revisions off on the other one for now.
