obese and pregnant

hey im brittany and 24. im pregnant with my second child. with my first pregnancy i was 50lbs lighter and started showing at 5months. i was 220 then. now im 275. will i look pregnant later on or just fat?

Hi brittany and congrats! I was pretty much the same as you with both my pregnancies. I never looked pregnant with my first I just got wider. With my second I showed and had an actual bump earlier than I felt any changes with my first. By 25 weeks I had a "bump"

I was 280 my first pregnancy at 21 and didn't really show until my last month... I'm 260/270 now and I'm hoping to show more when I manage to get pregnant again. I'm going to be 25 the end of Oct.

It's hard to say, each pregnancy can be way different from the last, even in the same woman. I had a friend about the same size as me (she's giving birth in about 2 weeks, maybe 3) and at 26 weeks I look more pregnant than she does.

I was around 210-215 when I got pregnant and now I'm 249. I'm hoping I can lose it!!

My first baby I was 235 at the beginning and showed at 17 weeks

My second and third baby I started out at 265-275 [and I'm 5'8" btw] and didn't show a round belly until 28 weeks.

I used to think I didn't look pregnant... I was wrong   This is me at 37 or 38 weeks pregnant with my second. I weighed bout the same as you do now. I mean, I was a smurfing elephant, but you can still tell there's probably a baby in there.

Breanna: I was the same way. I constantly lamented that I just looked extra fat, not pregnant.

I'm not sure how far along I was, but I think it was close to the end... maybe 37weeks.

You just never know.
I was heavy with my last one. I weighed 231 when I found out (239) when I delivered. But I showed at 4 months?

Also I think if you put things that show baby belly more it would make you feel better. I wont wear just 'bigger sized' clothes, i go Maternity cuz they're more flattering to the belly bump. Maternity tees cling to the belly in the best way and the pants with the belly band makes it look less like muffin top and more like round bump. It helps your self esteem, really

I'll have to remember that...I felt sooo self conscious about mine.
