Honestly, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone.

It's terribly sad that ppl tend to think people make up fake lives and children's death for attention, the fact is thought that some ppl are pathetic and do that though.

There's a special little corner in Hell for sickos like that. I don't know if you were around when all of this went down but there was a member on here named "Paige" and she faked her entire pregnancy, labour, etc. Well soon she started posting about her son "Brett" having bloody stools, etc. And shortly after that saying he was "diagnosed" with a brain tumor/cancer.

To wrap this up quickly, all of it turned out to be a lie. Some members on here were on their real detective smurf and even found "Brett's" real mom on FB. Lots of things didn't add up. Her belly pics, wristband in the hospital, it was terrible.

I felt (and many others on this site) cheated and taken for a fool. It seemed sooo real. All those prayers wasted on a sick kid that didn't exist.

This all happened before I lost our son, but now that I have lost a child ppl who make things like that up disgusts me to the core. Karma is real and ppl should think carefully about what they "joke" about.

Now, I've said all that to say this, I'm sorry about baby Arthur. I hope in time your cousin and his girlfriend can find healing and peace. The hurt never will go away and nothing will ever fill the void in their hearts he left behind but with strength and The Lord they will be sustained.

I would love to talk to Arthur's mother. I have a parentank only thread for mothers who've experienced late term losses, fetal death, and neonatal losses. It's a very healing friendly place and anyone who needs to talk is welcome in my thread.
I know she may not be up to joining this site and talking to me since her loss is so fresh and everywhere you turn there is expecting mommies, labor stories, birthday posts, etc. everywhere.

I'm also an admin for a secret angel mommies group on FB, if she'd rather talk to me and other angel mommies there. I take my son's loss and use it as a tool, a gift God has given me to inspire and enable other mothers to cope.

So just tell her about me and my groups and if she wants to make contact,I'd be more than happy to do that. ♥

I'm so sorry to learn of the loss you and your family have experienced in the death of this little boy. It's clear you cared deeply for Arthur and for his parents. I can't imagine what they are going through right now, but I can pray. May God comfort their hearts when they hurt and surround them with His love.

If they think it might ever be helpful, I'm with an organization called Focus on the Family who has chaplains who would be happy to talk with this family over the phone when things get tough. They can be reached by calling 1-800-A-FAMILY (1-800-232-6459) anytime between 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. (MT) Monday through Friday. We also have an article series called "Coping With Death and Grief" that might be helpful for Michelle and Arthur to read through.
